Alella is the smallest wine growing area of Spain, just outside of Barcelona.

Because of it´s size, it is an easy to visit area. Alella has only 8 wineries. The climate is Mediterranean with mild winters and warm and dry summers. the average temperature is 14,5 degrees Celsius and the area receives over 2.500 hours of sun every year.
Whilst strawling through the vineyards you can actually see the city of Barcelona. In the litlle town we also find lots of wineries and wine bars to enjoy a glass of the local wines made of the locally grown grape ¨pansa blanca¨.
